The Broadway Choreography Intensive (BCI) is a one-of-a-kind program designed to give aspiring Musical Theatre choreographers unparalleled access to training from industry professionals.

Selected applicants will be given access to the Dance Lab Choreography Symposium - a unique virtual curriculum created to promote a culture of interactive learning from anywhere in the world. With more than 20 sessions offered over two days, choreographers will have the opportunity to interface with expert teachers from across a wide spectrum of the dance field. Following the Symposium, BCI students will gather in person in New York City to engage in a week of guided choreographic challenges and exploratory exercises as well as receive one-on-one mentorship and feedback in the creation of their own work!

CHOREOGRAPHY SYMPOSIUM // Virtual
Participants will attend Dance Lab Choreography Symposium at no cost where they will have the opportunity to access our unique virtual curriculum with more than 20 sessions offered over two days. Choreographers will have the opportunity to interface with expert teachers from across a wide spectrum of the dance field. BROADWAY CHOREOGRAPHY INTENSIVE // In Person
Over the course of one week participants will gather in midtown Manhattan to engage in unique choreographic challenges and exploratory exercises as well as receive one-on-one mentorship from DLNY’s Founding Artistic Director, Josh Prince, and BCI Director, Valerie Salgado. Industry guests will provide feedback on the choreography generated.
