Kristina Bermudez is a Brooklyn-based Educator, Dancer, and Actor. She has worked as an independent freelance dance artist in a myriad of projects ranging in contemporary dance, theater, and film. Currently she is a lead Teaching Artist with Mark Morris Dance Center, Mark DeGarmo Dance, PureElements and more. She is in year 2 at William Esper Studio and thrilled to be joining the Fall DLNY Workshop. As a choreographer and collaborator, she focuses on ways to translate movement for accessible consumption. Her work fosters inclusiveness, accessibility, and community through immersive experiences and non-traditional staging while maintaining focus on sustainability and its relationship to her work. She is the Artistic Director of Project.KB, a Brownsville-based production organization whose mission is to build a sustainable economy through dance.
