Roberto Vega Ortiz

Dancer

Born and raised in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, Roberto has danced professionally for over a decade and toured more than 10 countries worldwide during his 2-year tenure as a Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo member.

Roberto trained at Escuela de Ballets de San Juan, Conservatorio de Ballet Concierto de Puerto Rico, Escuela Especializada en Ballet Julián E. Blanco, and Miami City Ballet School. He also danced professionally with Ballet Concierto de Puerto Rico, Nashville Ballet, Diablo Ballet, San José Dance Theatre, and Ballet22, and is now a current member of Mauro Ballet.

In october 2020, Vega Ortiz co-founded Ballet22, which was named Dance Magazine’s 2022 “25 To Watch,” serving as its Artistic Director, President of the Board, and Dancer until 2023.

Roberto Vega Ortiz is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Enbyballet.
