Dancer

Francis, born in Melbourne, Australia, studied with Lorraine Backbourn and at the Australian Ballet School, earning a Diploma in Dance. He has danced with several companies, including the Australian Ballet Company and Dance Theatre of Harlem, Grand Rapids ballet, performing in major classical ballets and modern works by renowned choreographers like George Balanchine and Twyla Tharp. Francis has appeared in musicals, such as “An American in Paris,” “West Side Story,” and “The Wiz,” films, and TV shows like “Law & Order.” He is now a freelance artist and teacher in New York City.
