Amari Hutcheson

Dancer

Amari Hutcheson was born in Kansas and started studying dance in a studio at age four. In their highschool junior year they transferred to Interlochen and graduated with the Young Artist award in 2018. After receiving the Robert Battle Scholarship from the Meringoff Foundation their next step was the BFA Program at Alvin Ailey Studios at Fordham University. Before graduating in 2022 they were able to be in a re-staging by Clifton Brown of Alvin Ailey’s “For Bird With Love”.
