Alexander Haquia grew up in Morris County, New Jersey, and began dancing at the age of 15. He joined Ballet Hispánico in 2021 as a company member before graduating from the Fordham/Ailey BFA Program in 2022. After dancing two seasons with Ballet Hispánico, he joined Complexions Contemporary Ballet for their 29th season in 2023. He most recently was an Ensemble member in the world premiere of Gatsby: An American Myth, directed by Rachel Chavkin.
