Born and raised in Brooklyn, Jaylen is a movement artist whose passion for dance is rooted in storytelling, culture, and unifying community. Hip-hop was his first language, the foundation that shaped his artistry and fueled his exploration into a multitude of styles that range from street jazz, popping, and Afro dance. Throughout highschool, he’s trained under the Masterz dance company where he’s further developed his hip hop & street jazz knowledge and has performed for stages like the Guggenheim museum and Lincoln center. Jaylen continues to strive to intrinsically create, share, and bring people together, one step at a time.
