Tommy Wasiuta, a “breath of dance freedom” (New York Times), is a tap dance artist based in NYC. His tap dance-only album “Drum Shoes” explores the tap shoes as a solo instrument. Stage credits include The Joyce Theater, 92NY, Little Island, Chelsea Factory, and Jazz at Lincoln Center, working under artists like Michela Marino Lerman, Max Pollak, Luke Hickey, Christina Carminucci, and Ulysses Owens Jr. He teaches tap dance at Steps on Broadway, Joffrey Ballet School, and New York University.
