Tuan Malinowski (they/them) is a New York–based theatre choreographer and director, who most recently choreographed The Drowsy Chaperone in Concert at Carnegie Hall, starring Laverne Cox and Jonathan Van Ness. This historic concert presentation received a Special Recognition Award at the 37th GLAAD Media Awards. Malinowski’s choreographic work also includes productions at Northern Stage, Weathervane Theatre, and at universities across the country. They have choreographed for Jay Armstrong Johnson’s I Put A Spell On You, Dance Lab New York’s The Dance Lab Honors, Leg Up On Life’s Night of Life, and have premiered work in collaboration with Pace University’s BFA Commercial Dance program.
