Broadway Choreography Intensive Director

In addition to being Director of Education, Valerie has danced in DLNY’s inaugural company as well as subsequent cycles, served as Company Manager, and has choreographed for DLNY Connect. Choreography credits NYC and regionally: Footloose, Hairspray, Helen on 86th St., Transcendence Theatre Company, Europa Park, Celebrity Cruise Line. Associate Choreographer: Emmy award winning, NBC series SMASH, Disney Cruise Line’s Frozen, off b-way: Bunty Berman Presents. She received her classical dance training under the direction of Philip and Charles Fuller and earned her B.A. in dance from UC Irvine. Currently Valerie is pursuing her Masters degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism and also provides early intervention services to toddlers with Autism.
