Dance Lab New York hires highly trained, stylistically versatile dancers of all backgrounds. High level of skill is a must. Dancers work with and learn choreography from multiple choreographers, so adaptability and versatility are necessary. Dancers must also have a strong attention to detail and a memory for complex choreography. We invite dancers of all backgrounds, races, genders, abilities, and ages to apply.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL DANCERS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL HOURS OF REHEARSAL. NO EXCEPTIONS. (Rehearsal schedules will always be made available prior to contracting.)

nextgen YOUTH COMPANY

The DLNY NextGen Apprenticeship is designed to help young choreographers, ages 14-18, unleash their creative potential by providing them with guidance from DLNY’s resident mentor, William Carlos Angulo, as well as a Lab residency with a professional youth dance company, studio space, and structured rehearsal time.

DLNY hires highly trained, stylistically versatile dancers of all backgrounds ages 14-18. High level of skill is a must. Dancers work with and learn choreography from two different choreographers, so adaptability and versatility are necessary. Dancers must also have a strong attention to detail and a memory for complex choreography. We invite dancers from all five boroughs of New York City and those of all backgrounds, races, genders, and abilities to apply.

All dancers under the age of 18 must secure an Employment Certificate from their school’s administration.
