Elevating Musical Theatre
Dancemakers

The Broadway Choreography Intensive (BCI) is a one-of-a-kind, tuition-free program designed to give a selected cohort of choreographers unparalleled access to personalized training in the art of making dance for Musical Theatre.

Participants will gather in New York City June 20- 29, where they will launch the intensive by taking part in the Dance Lab Choreography Symposium – a series of panels, discussions, forums, and open rehearsals created to promote a culture of interactive learning. They will then continue for a week of curated choreographic challenges and exploratory exercises and receive one-on-one mentorship and feedback on the creation of their own work. The Intensive finishes with an informal sharing of work with friends and family.
